Public Procurement in depth from the perspective of identified main risks and irregularities in practice
Practical, innovative and focused on real cases!
Learn more about the risks of certain areas of public procurements, including choosing the right type of procedure, defining selection and evaluation criteria, regularity of evaluation and contracting and problems with contract implementation and modifications. Participants will gain practical insights and tools to avoid and detect irregularities and to be able to implement and assess public procurements effectively and in compliance with regulations. Each topic shall include presentation of the legislation, court cases and audit findings. Furthermore practical case studies, exercises and group discussions shall take place.

In addition, Peter has been lecturer for many international events, e.g. seminars, twinning projects and EU wide working groups.

dr. Tünde Tátrai
Key Lecturer
Tünde Tátrai is economist and lawyer, works currently as a full professor at Corvinus University of Budapest. She is member of the Editorial Board of the European Procurement and Public Private Partnership Law Review and the Journal of Public Procurement. She is member of the Multi-Stakeholders Expert Group on eProcurement (EU). She has been teaching public procurement since 2004 in several international training programs.

Key Lecturer
Balázs Dencső is Director General of the Directorate General for Audit of European funds (Audit Authorithy) in Hungary and has extensive experience in the area of cohesion and structural funds. He delivered since 2003 trainings and specific supports for Managing and Certifying Authorities, Intermediate Bodies, Audit Authorities, beneficiaries and others about management & control systems, audits of EU funded programmes and projects, with special regard to public procurement.
